A solar company was burning significant time manually quoting every inbound lead over the phone. A large proportion of those calls never converted — prospects weren't price qualified before speaking to sales, meaning the team was spending hours on leads that were never going to close.
We built a fully automated quoting and lead qualification engine. Prospects enter their postcode, the system pulls live energy pricing data, calculates exactly how many solar panels their property needs using Google Project Sunroof data, generates a precise cost and savings projection, and displays financing options — all before they ever speak to a human.
Lead volume decreased but lead quality transformed. The company went from unqualified cold calls to sales conversations where prospects already knew the price, understood the savings, and had self selected as serious buyers. Close rate increased to 70%.
